Well well well…what can I say?! Firstly, Caroline + Simon’s beautiful and relaxed wedding held at Furneaux Lodge in the Marlborough Sounds took place back in February this year, but I have had to keep these images under lock and key as they have been featured on both Studio Home and Magnolia Rouge over the last few weeks. You can view the lead up to the big day on Studio Home and read Caroline + Simon’s wedding story and view my photographs over on Magnolia Rouge (my most favourite wedding blog ever!). I must say that I am excited to now be able to share their wedding day on my blog. Caroline + Simon are close friends of mine and it was a honor to be able to be both a guest as well as to capture their big day for them. The wedding day started with the Bride and the Made of Honor having a water ski – what else would you do the morning of your wedding day in the Sounds right? Caroline + Simon were married looking out over the calm, clear waters of Endeavour Inlet and the celebrations continued long into the night in the marquee decorated by family and friends looking out over the water. The day was filled with plenty of love and happiness and the flowers and the details reflected the natural surroundings just perfectly. Take me back to the Marlborough Sounds any day! Enjoy xx
