Amanda + Luke | Cheviot North Canterbury Wedding

Amanda + Luke said their I DOs at Amanda’s family farm in Cheviot, North Canterbury overlooking the rolling green hills and snow capped mountains on the horizon line. It was a typical spring day with all 4 seasons – sunshine, cloud, patches of rain AND a sprinkling of snow just before the first kiss. The family farm could not have provided a better backdrop for the photographs and during the showers of rain we were able to find shelter in the sheep yards for some rustic farm photos. My photographers dream came true as I was able to photograph Amanda + Luke amongst the most perfect white cherry blossoms, and of course, these two were a dream to photograph. The reception was held in the very quaint and historical Spotswood Hall – family and friends had spent hours leading up to the big day getting this old country hall up to scratch, and on the day it was styled to perfection. The day was quite simply full of love, family and friends. The guests enjoyed locally sourced food and celebrated the night away, with the highlight being Luke’s impromtu song he sang to Amanda (Luke – I never knew you had such talent!).
